A webinar is really a trial of your product!
Yes, you will give content on the webinar. Yes, you will make an offer on the webinar and if you understand what makes it so powerful then you will be able to improve your presentation.
You see, the ideal webinar builds a better relationship with your community even if they don’t buy! It is the relationship with your community that is the most important thing. If they feel valued, heard and supported then they will happy stay as part of your community.
But if they think you’re just trying to make a quick buck then you will lose them.
A webinar is a powerful way to make your community feel valued, heard and supported… if you know how. I’d like to show you how to do this with 3 simple steps.
A webinar is really a trial of the product that you want to sell. When I say product this could be a physical product such as a book or CD set or it could be a live workshop or mentorship program. So please don’t think this only works for physical products.
So let’s just say your product is going to reveal 4 secrets to a happier and healthier life.
What are you going to teach on your webinar?
You should teach: what the 4 secrets are and why they are important.
That’s how you give them a trial of your product.
For your product to be desirable you must show your community a faster way to get what they want than anyone else.
A big promise grabs your community’s attention and it also makes them ask Is this really possible?
The most powerful way to back up your unbelievable claim is with social proof. The social proof can be yours and your customers.
A skeptical buyer needs to know that you have achieved unbelievable results. They also need to know that ordinary people just like them can achieve the same results when they follow your system. Without the social proof that anyone who takes action can succeed, you will always fight an uphill battle.
What’s the most powerful type of social proof? Some live on the webinar with you. If you can persuade your customers to give up just 10 minutes of their time to join you on the webinar it will demonstrate to your community beyond any doubt that ordinary people can change their lives faster than they dared to believe then they use your system.
Because a webinar has live interaction the participants can ask the live testimonial the questions that they want answered which further proves that your system works.
If you’ve given a trial of your product the offer doesn’t need to be complicated. Why? Because you are offering a more in-depth version of what you’ve just covered.
Your community will know what they need to do to achieve their desired result. They won’t know the specific steps that they need to take to achieve this, which is what you are selling.
You may also bundle in additional hand holding support which demonstrates your commitment to helping them get results.
When you make your presentation a trial of your offer there won’t be a sharp distinction between the content and the offer because it’s all part of the same conversation.
When you give a presentation in this way, your community will feel valued, heard and supported because you’ve given upfront value, you’ve answered all their questions and you’ve shown them how you can support them further.
